The perfect engagement ring is more than just a pretty rock. It’s an expression of your individuality, both as a couple and as an individual, a ring you will wear for the rest of your life. Our designer-cut Art Deco style rings are a unique, elegant and striking way to reflect your love as you begin this new journey together.
In our Art Deco-inspired series, the design is not just the setting surrounding the stone, but it lives inside the stone itself. Beginning with our beautiful natural sapphires, tourmalines and topaz gems, each gemstone features a unique geometric design cut directly into it. In addition to the brilliance created by the custom-facets our master cutters shape on the exterior, the carved geometry of the interior design gives the impression that the light is emanating out from within each ring.
Each stone is individually cut, so no two rings will ever be exactly alike, and the cuts in the design emphasize both the beauty of the stones and the setting.

Historic Art Deco design emerged from a movement in the 1920s and ‘30s spanning design, fashion, and architecture. With a focus on bold geometric shapes and balanced, symmetrical details, it also emphasized deep, rich colors and luxurious materials. Materials like chrome, brass, and glass were also chosen to reflect and maximize light. It also often featuring motifs like stylized chevrons, fan shapes, and sunbursts—the latter strongly echoed in many of our designer-cut gems. The top of the Chrysler Building is a classic example of Art Deco design, its round arches inset with triangle shaped windows appearing like a crown on top of the building.
Not everything needed to be perfectly balanced though—some designs used intentional asymmetry to highlight a particular element or design feature. While Art Deco design included a fine attention to detail, the lines were also, generally speaking, clean, crisp, and straightforward, moving away from the fussy, overly-detailed styles of the Victorian era. Our Art Deco designer-cut rings are a modern interpretation of the style, reflected in the balanced, geometric structure of the settings, and in how the brilliance of the designer-cut stones enhance the luminous quality of each ring.

Current engagement ring trends have begun to move away from classic, traditional solitaire diamond rings to a more unique, artistic expression of individuality. Thicker gold bands are making a comeback—similar to the weight of our Solara ring—as are uniquely cut stones in detailed settings, often with companion stones of different cuts and shapes. Each of our Art Deco ring designs have unique settings and cuts to feature each ring’s individual motif.
Our Miastra ring features an ocean-blue topaz with a starburst-like cut, making it seem like light is bursting out from within the stone. The three sidelight diamonds, one inset inside its own miniature square, epitomize the symmetry of Art Deco design. The open-back floating setting enhances the internal geometry, and the three prong setting repeats the triad theme.
View DetailIn the light and airy Dakota, with its bright-toned sapphire, open space is as much of a design feature as the metal and stones. Almost architectural in structure, the kite-shaped points and the carved interior design repeat the angled motif, with the center cross cut highlighting the four corners of the geometric setting.

The large, deep-colored tourmaline of the Aegis features bold geometric lines in both the impressive shape of the stone and the wide, prong-free setting. With a crown of diamonds above and below the center gem, it feels like a protective shield for the wearer. Strong and confident, the interior cuts create the impression of multiple layers of a huge star exploding out from behind.
View DetailWith its rose pink tourmaline, the Solara is an excellent example of Art Deco structured asymmetry. The central teardrop shape is repeated multiple times over, from the fine metal setting and surrounding diamonds to the carved lines radiating out from the center gem. While three feature diamonds provide balance each side, the trio of marquise-cut stones point in different directions, a subtle asymmetrical nod.
